Let's start honestly
What does eating with PCOS feel like right now?

First, what is PCOS?
One of the most common hormonal conditions in women, and the most dismissed.
Polycystic ovary syndrome can show up as irregular or missing periods, stubborn weight, acne, thinning hair or excess hair growth, low energy, and mood swings. On average it takes years and multiple doctors before it is even named. The symptoms are real, they are hormonal, and they are manageable: the right nutrition, movement, and daily habits make a measurable difference.
You may also see it called PMOS, polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome, the new name given by an international consensus in The Lancet in May 2026 to reflect that it is metabolic and endocrine, not only ovarian.
- 8 to 13%
- of women of reproductive age are affected, per the World Health Organization.
- Up to 70%
- of cases worldwide go undiagnosed, so many women are told “it's normal” for years.

Questions, answered.
Is this a medical diagnosis?
No. PCOS Lens gives wellness insights and educational guidance. It does not diagnose or treat any condition. Your clinician knows your history; bring these suggestions to them.
What is a PCOS driver profile?
It's a plain-language view of which factors appear to be driving your symptoms: insulin, inflammation, stress and adrenal load, or recovery after stopping the pill. Most people are a mix, so we show the full distribution.
Do I need an account to get my result?
No. The assessment and your result name are free with no account. Create a free account when you want to save your result and unlock your full breakdown and starter plan.
Do I need a glucose monitor or any hardware?
No hardware, no appointment. The assessment runs on your phone in a few minutes.
Is PCOS being renamed?
Yes. In May 2026, an international consensus published in The Lancet renamed polycystic ovary syndrome to PMOS, polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome, because the condition is metabolic and endocrine, not only ovarian. Most women, clinicians, and search engines still say PCOS, so that is the name we lead with. PCOS Lens covers both: same condition, same app, whichever name you were given.
What does it cost?
Nothing. PCOS Lens is free during early access, and every feature is included with an account: your assessment and full result, the plans, the AI coach, photo meal scans, tracking, and insights. There is no card to enter. We may add an optional paid tier later, and if we do, we will tell you first, show any price clearly before you pay, and never charge anyone who hasn't signed up for a paid plan. Viewing and exporting the data you have logged will always be free.
